Do you want to:

target patient care?

Manage Chronic Disease?

Fly through your Practice Accreditation?

Improve income?

If you said YES to any of the above, the Pen Clinical Audit Tool may be for you!

Overview:

The Pen Clinical Audit Tool (CAT) is a piece of software that allows practice staff to look at their data in new ways for the achievement of best practice and data quality while optimising the financial opportunities for GPs and the Practice. GPNW have paid the software license for all practices in North West Tasmania, so it is FREE!

CAT scrutinises the aggregated patient information of the practice and presents it quickly and accurately in a refreshing graphical format that is easy to understand.

Practice staff can produce a list of patients who fall into selected population ‘target groups’ making population health and quality care initiatives simple to act upon and measure. Business opportunities can be identified.

Using worlds-best graphics, CAT is simple to use, seamless to implement and is a highly effective tool in improving patient population and business outcomes. Within minutes of installing the system it is ready to deliver for your practice. CAT operates with the GP Clinical Desktop System (currently Zedmed, MD3, MD2, Best Practice & Genie Solutions) to present the GP and practice staff with meaningful information on the practice population.

CAT can answer your practice population questions with just the click of a mouse!

  • Which of my diabetic and CHD patients are smokers and overweight?

Patients at Risk

  • Who are my patients that are NOT diagnosed with Diabetes or CHD, yet
    • are 45 years and over, and
    • are smokers, and
